As part of a celebration of culture and flavors, His Excellency Mr. Luy David, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Cambodia to France, recently hosted a refined lunch at the Cambodian residence, inviting guests from all countries and the media to embark on a rich gastronomic journey through Khmer cuisine.

A feast of traditions and flavors
The menu, carefully crafted by the ambassador, paid tribute to Cambodia's centuries-old culinary traditions, featuring iconic dishes that are not only a source of nourishment but also living symbols of national identity.
Guests were treated to Prahok Ktis, a fragrant fermented fish sauce enriched with creamy coconut milk, Plea Sach Ko, a traditional tangy beef salad bursting with lemongrass and local herbs, and Nom Banh Chok Samlor Proher, a much-loved dish of fermented rice noodles bathed in a subtly spicy and herbaceous broth.
Each dish was carefully described as a “cultural ambassador,” inviting guests to discover the soul of Cambodia through its flavors.
