Topaz & Kep: A symphony of flavors, a train journey dedicated to the culinary arts

In early June, on the initiative of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, in collaboration with Thalias and Kep West, around twenty gourmets and wine lovers were able to discover the charm of a train journey to Kep in a stylishly decorated dining car, while enjoying sumptuous dishes and the best wines offered by the Topaz restaurant.

An exquisite menu

In the world of haute cuisine, some menus are more than just a list of dishes: they tell a story, invite discovery, and celebrate the artistic talent of the chef and winemaker.

This was the case at this gastronomic event, where guests were treated to an exquisite menu combining sophisticated flavors with world-renowned wines, all in a refined and elegant setting, while admiring the lush landscapes of the coastal province.

The journey begins: the starter

The journey began with a trio of starters designed to awaken the taste buds. A refreshing gazpacho offered a vibrant and fresh introduction. Next, steamed white asparagus accompanied by a hollandaise sauce brought a touch of spring, their delicate stalks pairing perfectly with the rich, velvety sauce. The Pan Bagnat, a nod to Provençal tradition with its rustic yet refined flavors, completed this selection of starters.
