Cambodia: Master San Kim Sean, considered the “father of Kun Lbokator”, dies aged 80

Master San Kim Sean, widely celebrated as “the father of Kun Lbokator”, passed away peacefully at midday today at the age of 80 after a long illness. His passing marks the end of an era for Cambodia's martial arts community and the preservation of its cultural heritage.

Master San Kim Sean was instrumental in the revival and worldwide recognition of Kun Lbokator, an ancient Khmer martial art that almost disappeared under the brutal Khmer Rouge regime.
