At Pavillon Baltard, Sixteen Candidates Vie for the Crown. Portraits of three of them, where beauty blends with heritage and commitment.
Under the gilding and spotlights, the Miss Cambodia in France election is never just a beauty contest. It's a vibrant bridge between two shores, a tribute to resilience, and a showcase for diverse heritages. On March 28, 2026, Pavillon Baltard will open its doors for an exceptional gala evening, blending refined dining and a dazzling show.
Sixteen candidates will vie for the title, but while awaiting the one who will succeed to the crown, here's a focus on three of them who, each in their own way, are redefining the boundaries of commitment.
Doreen, No. 15: The Light of Lyon
At 22, Doreen embodies a solar gentleness. Hailing from Lyon, this young woman with a contagious smile sees the election as a return to her roots more than a competition.
"The smile is a universal language," she confides. "It brings people closer, soothes, and spreads light."

But don't be fooled: behind this apparent softness hides a warrior's soul. "A great determination, that of a woman who knows where she comes from," she adds.
For Doreen, the title is more than a sash or a crown. It's a "bridge between generations," a path to honor Khmer history while projecting it into modernity. She doesn't just want to represent; she wants to shine with dignity.
Morgane, No. 14: The Dancer of Two Shores
At 28, Morgane is an artist. A professional dancer, she devotes her life to creating magic and bringing joy to the eyes of those who watch her. But what stands out is her deep attachment to passing on her heritage, which she carries even in her legal name.

She chose to use her second and third given names, Sarine and Émilie, in homage to her Khmer and Breton great-grandmothers.
"I think they beautifully represent my mixed culture," she confides with elegant simplicity.
For Morgane, the contest is the perfect opportunity to highlight her Khmer roots. If elected, she promises to continue this work through art and dance, adding a choreographic touch to her role as miss. A sincere "orkun" (thank you) that resonates like a pas de deux between France and Cambodia.
Annie Thyda, No. 1: Making Women Strong
With her 25 years and boundless energy, Annie Thyda (Chida Shun in civilian life) is a force of nature. Based in Blois, this beauty industry entrepreneur doesn't just enhance physical appearances: her fight is to make women strong, confident, and proud of their identity.

Her commitment is political, in the noblest sense. For her, Cambodia is a "story of resilience, courage, and love."
As candidate number 1, she steps forward with the determination of those who understand that "to change things, you have to dare to speak up."
Her message goes beyond the contest: she wants to carry values of solidarity and the courage to stand against injustice. Voting for her means choosing a beauty that unites, uplifts, and inspires.
The Big Night: Pavillon Baltard, March 28, 2026
This third edition promises to be memorable. The gala will take place in the iconic Pavillon Baltard, a glass-and-metal gem that will host a dinner-show under the sign of elegance and sharing.
A reservation-only evening, where each guest can support their favorite candidate while discovering an artistic program drawing from the riches of Khmer culture.
The event is made possible thanks to the support of prestigious partners: GFC Pharma, TV5Monde (media partner), Concept Climat Vinhs, Poly d'Or, Krama Angélia, and RSCP. Brands that, each in their own way, help shine this bridge between France and Cambodia.
They are sixteen, but these three already carry their heritage high. On March 28, 2026, on the stage of Pavillon Baltard, it won't be just faces being judged, but stories, struggles, and an infinite love for the Khmer kingdom. A beauty that, without a doubt, unites, uplifts, and inspires.
