VINCI Airports réaffirme son engagement pour le développement de l'aviation cambodgienne

On the sidelines of the One Health Summit in France, VINCI Airports has reiterated its firm support for the Royal Government of Cambodia to boost the country's aviation sector. A key meeting between Prime Minister Hun Manet and the company's CEO, Rémi Maumont de Longevialle, paves the way for strengthened cooperation.

The meeting took place on April 8, on the sidelines of the One Health Summit where Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet is on an official visit from April 6 to 9. The CEO of VINCI Airports expressed his gratitude for the Cambodian government's continued support for the company's operations. He highlighted the strong partnership between VINCI Airports and Cambodia, while presenting business advancements and future projects.
Focus on air connections and tourism
Rémi Maumont de Longevialle emphasized prioritizing cooperation with international airlines to develop direct flights to Cambodia. The goal: promote the country's tourism potential and attract more foreign visitors. VINCI Airports is committed to contributing to the development of the Cambodian aviation industry by exploring new investment and expansion opportunities in the Kingdom.
Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet welcomed these exchanges and praised the key role of VINCI Airports in the growth of the aviation sector. He recalled the official launch of Techo International Airport, underscoring the government's efforts to collaborate with institutions and the private sector to enhance Cambodia's competitiveness. Expanding international direct links remains an absolute priority.
The Prime Minister encouraged VINCI Airports to strengthen its ties with relevant ministries and stakeholders to seize new opportunities and consolidate its success in Cambodia.
