Padel Interchambres: A Successful First Edition Unites Cambodia's Business Community

On Saturday 4 October 2025, the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Cambodia (CCIFC) successfully orchestrated the very first edition of the Interchambers Padel Tournament, a first-of-its-kind event bringing together Cambodia's leading international business communities.
Beyond the competitive dimension, the day marked the official launch of the Interchambers Padel League, an ambitious initiative aimed at strengthening exchanges between business communities through sport. Padel, a fast-growing sport in Cambodia, illustrates its role as a vector for cohesion, networking and sharing within the local economic fabric.
Throughout the competition, players from different backgrounds shared moments of exchange and fair play, encouraging the creation of solid links between the different chambers. This dynamic perfectly illustrates the shared desire to promote federative activities within the international business community.
The results of the main tournament were as follows: victory went to the team of Paul Svrac and Mathieu Dittberner, followed by Philippe Bonamy and Alexis Vastchenko, while third place went to Cléme de la Porte and Gérard San. In the consolation category, Juan Carlos Cairos' team came out on top, with Rapytha Bonamy and Sovann Bonamy in second place, and Alex Dance and Janis Koknevics in third.
The winners received a symbolic trophy, which they will present again at the next edition, thus establishing an inter-chamber sporting tradition that will become a permanent fixture in Cambodia's economic and community calendar.
The CCIFC expresses its deep gratitude to the participants, to its Gold sponsor, Decathlon Cambodia, and to KhmerPadel for their exemplary logistical support. On the strength of this inaugural success, the CCIFC is already enthusiastic about the idea of repeating the event in 2026, with the ambition of making the Interchambers Padel League a not-to-be-missed quarterly event for international companies and institutions in Cambodia.
