IFTM Top Resa 2026: Cambodia Returns to Paris to Win Over French Travel Professionals
For the second year running, the Cambodia Tourism Board led a Cambodian delegation to the IFTM Top Resa trade show in Paris, from 15 to 17 September 2026. Its message to tour operators: Cambodia is more than Angkor.

France's leading travel trade show
IFTM Top Resa is the main annual gathering of the French travel industry. Tour operators, travel agencies, tourism boards, airlines and corporate travel buyers all attend.
The 2026 edition drew more than 32,000 travel professionals. In all, 1,650 exhibiting brands represented 177 destinations.
This was Cambodia's second consecutive year at the show. The Cambodia Tourism Board (CTB) came with five partners: Artisan Angkor, The Royal Sands Koh Rong, Phoenix Voyages, Asian Trails and Jade Falcon.
More than 100 meetings in three days
The Cambodia Pavilion logged more than 100 meetings. Visitors included international tour operators, travel agencies, airlines, media representatives and content creators.
A CTB delegation also took part in a conference on new tourism products in Asia for next year. It shared the stage with Voyage Sauvage (India), Asia (a tour operator on the French market), IAIA (which sells floating houses on the Tonle Sap), Vespace (a Vietnamese travel agency) and Climat du Monde (a French operator specialising in Asia). The audience was made up of other tour operators and show visitors.
The CTB presented three pillars of the destination: culture, nature and an authentic city vibe. It also pointed to lesser-known places and activities.
Two media outlets interviewed the delegation: a French TV magazine and Discovery Edition. Questions covered Cambodia's efforts to revive its tourism sector and to promote its destinations better in France and Europe.
The CTB also hosted a private dinner. Six travel agents, industry partners and one journalist attended.
Moving beyond Angkor
For H.E. Kim Minea, CEO of the CTB, France remains a priority. “France and the wider Francophone market remain key priorities for Cambodia’s tourism sector, and IFTM Top Resa provides an important opportunity to build on the momentum of our successful participation last year,” he said.
He explained the approach in Paris: “At IFTM, our focus is not only on promoting Cambodia, but on helping buyers understand how to sell the destination, moving beyond an Angkor-centred itinerary.” The CTB is pushing an offer built around culture, nature and coast, and city vibe, with experiences available all year round.
The 500 Agent FAM Trip Programme was also introduced to international partners. It will let travel agents see Cambodia’s destinations first-hand later this year.
The Francophonie Summit as a backdrop
The calendar works in Cambodia’s favour. The country hosts the Francophonie Summit in November. “This year’s participation is particularly timely,” Kim Minea said, adding that the summit brings the Francophone community into closer focus on the Kingdom. The CTB wants to turn that interest into stronger trade engagement.
For operators, the appeal of the show is practical. Peter Kaelli, Managing Director of The Royal Sands Koh Rong, put it simply: “It is important for Cambodia to be at the IFTM because all the travel operators are here so we could meet them all in one place.”
The CTB says it wants to build on the contacts made in Paris. The first familiarisation trips for agents are expected in the coming months.
