Everyday People – The Radiant Exhibition by Artists for Humanity – Is Set to Drape the Capital's Grand Hotels in Living Canvases

This ephemeral biennale, steeped in the raw poetry of everyday Khmer life, unites over sixteen resident artists in a bold act of solidarity. Their visions will transform every brushstroke into lifelines for Heartprint, the NGO weaving sustainable futures for families in Siem Reap.

Art as an Elevated Act of Grace

Fifty percent of sales – auctions included – will directly nourish Heartprint, a quiet force for over a decade in safe housing, enlightened education, vigilant care, and training that unleashes talents and jobs. A philosophy of empowerment: a helping hand, never charity, rooted in trust forged over the years.

Nancy from Pivot Arts Management, a Cambodia resident for four years, shares her passion for exhibitions that light up communities. It all stemmed from one artist's despair amid Thailand-Cambodia border tensions:

"Sadness is powerlessness. Let's channel anger into action."

Sixteen talents have donated their works, funneling 50% to Heartprint for essentials – homes, wells, education in Siem Reap – eclipsing the fleeting donations of yesteryear.

Raffles Kicks Off with Finesse

Dagmar Lyons, General Manager of Raffles Hotel Le Royal, inaugurates this two-week showcase with polished eloquence:

"We gather to launch this fusion of art, community, and social responsibility. Artists for Humanity's Everyday People brings together sixteen Cambodian artists across Raffles, Courtyard by Marriott, and Rosewood Phnom Penh, turning creative expression into tangible impact."

The Warm Welcome from Courtyard

Sarah Moya, General Manager of Courtyard by Marriott Phnom Penh, ignites the spirit of this triad: "We're at the heart of the exhibition, born from a coffee with Nancy that sparked the flame, then a lunch with Daniel and Dagmar to magnify our beloved Phnom Penh. Bravo to Pivot and Artists for Humanity for this titanic effort."

She celebrates a perfect triptych: elevating the city beyond hotel walls, honoring Khmer art – the living vein of Cambodia, the intangible Khmer heritage – and extending a hand to Heartprint for lives beyond the Phnom Penh bubble.

At Courtyard, it'll be intimate and fluid: from morning coffees and teas with artists to evening cocktails.

"Canvas Conversations on March 26 (6-8pm), relaxed and electric. Join the momentum from Raffles to Rosewood – it's for everyone. Long live this brilliant vision!"

Rosewood's Universal Echo

On behalf of Daniel Simon from Rosewood Phnom Penh, Timothy delivers an inclusive message:

"On behalf of Rosewood, we're honored to support this initiative with our partners, linking art, community, and real impact. Its genius? Accessibility – no need to be an expert, just feel it."

Art for all sparks connection, curiosity, meaning – and concrete change through auctions for Heartprint's homes, wells, and sustainable livelihoods. "Proof that creativity strengthens communities beyond galleries. United for culture and progress, it's a city moment. Join our April 2 dinner to celebrate artists and legacy."

Palaces as Living Icons

Raffles, born in 1887, exudes sovereign luxury; Courtyard pulses with Mekong urbanity; Rosewood blends ancestral Khmer motifs and futuristic design in the Vattanac tower.

Artists for Humanity elevates creators to architects of progress, inviting you to harvest Cambodian hope. These hotels, fueled by Khmer talents, nurture this national generosity.
