The Raclette Night will take place on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM, and raclette enthusiasts should book in advance.

Special RacletteWhat makes Khéma's raclette so special? Thalias' cheesemakers make it themselves from fresh whole milk sourced directly from local dairy farms in Phnom Penh. It's a long and labor-intensive process that ensures the best flavors and textures while supporting local producers.Raclette cheese is traditionally enjoyed with boiled potatoes, pickles, and plenty of charcuterie. So it's no surprise that Khéma is the ideal restaurant to host such a raclette celebration. With its wide range of charcuteries, Khéma is certainly the best place to experience the unique raclette.

Raclette, did you know?

We've already told the story, but let's recall that raclette is an original dish very popular in Europe, especially in the Swiss Alps. It's in this region that raclette is said to have first appeared. Long ago, Swiss herders from the French-speaking Valais needed to bring relatively inexpensive foods to the Alps that wouldn't spoil during the hot summer months. So they brought cheese and potatoes. One day, while preparing lunch and roasting potatoes in the fire, a large piece of cheese was near the fire. When it began to melt, the herders took the cheese and scraped it over the boiled potatoes. It was a nourishing and delicious experience. That's how raclette was born.
