At Siem Reap, the École d’Hôtellerie et de Tourisme Paul Dubrule is organizing on October 30, 2025, the Women Empowerment Forum, a must-attend event dedicated to promoting female leadership in Cambodia. This gathering brings together public authorities, entrepreneurs, and civil society actors around crucial issues of gender equality and sustainable development.

This meeting will bring together public decision-makers, business leaders, civil society representatives, and academics with a common goal: to strengthen women's empowerment in Cambodia and highlight their essential role in governance, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development.
The opening ceremony will be presided over by His Excellency H.E. HOU Nirmita, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Women's Affairs, representing Madame the Minister H.E. Dr. ING Kantha Phavi. Alongside this high representative, several officials from the Ministries of Environment, Labor and Vocational Training, as well as the provincial government of Siem Reap, will participate in the discussions.

Three major themes will structure the day. The first,
Déconstruire les stéréotypes de genre, led by H.E. HOU Nirmita, will bring together Mrs. CHHAY Sophorn, general director of HR Code, and Mr. VANNA Veasna from the CRST-G project to question persistent representations and obstacles that hinder gender equality.
The second,Femmes et entrepreneuriat : parcours d’excellence, will honor emblematic figures of female leadership such as Chef POL Kimsan, president of the Association Cambodgienne des Chefs, Mrs. SAR Rath Amara, human resources director at BRED Bank Cambodia, and Mrs. YOU Bory, vice-president of internal affairs of the Association des Femmes Entrepreneurs du Cambodge.
Finally, the third session, Engagement des femmes pour un développement durable, will highlight women's contribution to responsible growth with interventions from Mrs. OUM Sophea Pheach, founder of Golden Silk Pheach, Mrs. LY Pharom from the NGO Banteay Srei, and Mrs. SOEM Chantha, commercial manager at Senteurs d’Angkor.

Alongside the debates, a space dedicated to NGOs and partner organizations will offer participants a place for exchanges, discoveries, and cooperation.
Through this initiative, the École Paul Dubrule reaffirms its commitment to inclusion and female leadership, while consolidating its role as a catalyst for a sustainable and equitable future in Cambodia.
