Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet expressed his support for the company's initiative to create a Toyota Academy in Cambodia and encouraged the company to work closely with the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training to discuss the school organisation and business modelling setting in detail.
Samdech Thipadei also advised the company to consider expanding the scope of training to meet the needs of the automotive job market, both domestic and foreign, beyond Toyota’s human resource requirements.
Furthermore, he requested that the Toyota Group examine the potential for manufacturing Toyota spare parts for distribution in Cambodia and other countries, as well as forging partnerships with local suppliers of accessories for Toyota.
