Ucare Pharmacy, Cambodia's largest pharmacy chain, continues its expansion with the upcoming opening of two new branches: one at Techo International Airport and the other in the heart of Koh Pich.

The first opening will take place in September 2025 at Techo International Airport, making Ucare the first pharmacy chain to sign an agreement to offer on-site services at this new international airport. This move aims to ensure access to reliable pharmaceutical services for travelers, airport staff, and surrounding communities. At the same time, OCIC has confirmed that Intercare Hospital will also open a clinic within the airport, further strengthening healthcare provision with additional medical facilities on site.
The second opening is scheduled for October 2025 in the Koh Pich district. This branch will serve one of Phnom Penh's fast-growing urban centers, just a stone's throw from the Connexion Hub, the GIA Tower, and surrounding residential areas. It will meet growing demand from families, professionals, and visitors for access to quality, convenient, and affordable healthcare.
This partnership illustrates the strategic importance of integrating reliable and accessible healthcare services into major urban development projects. It also marks a new phase of growth for Ucare, which has over 20 years of experience in Cambodia and is recognized as the leading comprehensive network of stores dedicated to health, wellness, and beauty. With a team of qualified pharmacists and a network of nearly 30 outlets across the country, Ucare continues to bring healthcare closer to where Cambodians live, work and travel.
"I think this is really the right time for Ucare Pharmacy to open a branch in Koh Pich. A few years ago, it would have been too early, but since the opening of the Koh Norea bridge, which has created new traffic between the banks of the Mekong River and the city center, Koh Pich has become a popular destination for residents and businesses looking for a safe, peaceful place surrounded by green spaces," said Pascal Catry, French pharmacist and CEO of Ucare Pharmacy.
“OCIC has done an excellent job of attracting many shops and restaurants to make this new community comfortable.”
For OCIC Group, this collaboration is part of an integrated vision of urban development, with health and well-being as its fundamental pillars. Already active in the medical sector through the Intercare hospital, present on three sites, and the Olympia Medical Hub, OCIC continues to structure complete urban ecosystems combining infrastructure, mobility, economic development, and access to healthcare.
“OCIC is committed to building complete and sustainable neighborhoods designed for the future,” said Thierry Tea, vice president of the OCIC group. “The joint presence of Ucare Pharmacy and the Intercare clinic at Techo International Airport—complementing the pharmacy in Koh Pich—strengthens the health dimension of our urban vision. Tomorrow's urban planning must combine infrastructure, education, mobility, economy, green spaces... and, of course, access to healthcare.”
This partnership with Ucare marks a new stage for Cambodia, based on investment in modern, accessible healthcare solutions in line with the country's urban development. This is a shared ambition for both partners, which will become a reality when the two Ucare pharmacies open: first at Techo International Airport in September 2025, then in Koh Pich in October.
