Australia supports Cambodia on clean energy transition

Australia, a core partner in this venture, will contribute its expertise to help Cambodia develop a secure, green energy future through evidence-based policy-making, knowledge transfer and the implementation of pilot energy projects.

The Australian Embassy in Cambodia has announced that H.E. Derek Yip, Australian Ambassador to Cambodia, has visited EnergyLab Cambodia, an impact organisation dedicated to accelerating Cambodia's clean energy transition.

The visit provided a valuable opportunity to gain further insight into EnergyLab's work and to discuss a shared vision for advancing renewable energy initiatives in order to meet the country's climate targets and support economic growth.

EnergyLab Cambodia is an innovative and efficient not-for-profit organisation working to support the growth of clean energy markets. Its initiatives have had a positive impact on the clean energy industry, contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, job creation, diversification of Cambodia's energy sources, and overall economic development and community poverty reduction.
