Market Avenue: Spooky Fun Fest, an unforgettable Halloween celebration in Phnom Penh

Last weekend, Market Avenue vibrated to the rhythm of an exceptional event: the Spooky Fun Fest, a colorful Halloween party that delighted both young and old as well as their four-legged companions. Organized in the friendly and dynamic atmosphere of Factory Phnom Penh in partnership with Urban Village, this event offered two days of exciting activities, spectacular performances, and moments of pure entertainment.

The opening night was marked by an energetic concert despite heavy rain, a sign that the passion and enthusiasm of the artists and the audience overcame the whims of the weather. Cambodian artists such as Puth Mithona, Chan Monita, and Jrukprey thrilled the crowd with high-energy performances infused with the festive and mysterious spirit of Halloween.

Throughout the festival, a multitude of thrilling games and captivating activities engaged the participants. Among the highlights, the creative costume contest explored the magic of imagination, while the contest for costumed animals added a touching and fun touch, much to the joy of pet owners and visitors. This competition, a first of its kind, was made possible thanks to the generous support of partners such as TADA Cambodia and Bakong, offering winners attractive prizes ranging from cash to transport vouchers.

The local vendors' stalls allowed visitors to make wonderful discoveries, while shows and animations followed one another without pause, creating a festive and warm atmosphere. Beyond the spectacle and leisure, this celebration strengthened the sense of community, bringing together families, friends, and enthusiasts in a spirit of sharing and joy.

The Spooky Fun Fest thus fits into the tradition of innovative festivities proposed by Factory Phnom Penh and Urban Village, which continuously energize the city with highly qualitative and inclusive events.

Director Dr. Catherine Chan emphasized the importance of a welcoming space for all, including pets who are an integral part of the community.
