The major event of the weekend in Phnom Penh, the Exhibition of Khmer Products 2025 organised on the island of Koh Pich, has established itself as a must-attend event to celebrate talent, innovation and the wealth of Cambodian know-how.
Driven by a national ambition to promote local industry and supported by the presence of more than 300 companies and craftsmen, this exhibition was unanimously hailed as a great success by both professionals and the general public.
A prestigious setting for Khmer excellence
From the moment they entered the exhibition, visitors were greeted by an elegant scenography in which tradition and renewal were in harmonious dialogue. The impressive reception hall covered every aspect of local creativity, from ancestral crafts to the innovations of the new Khmer generation.
An overview of a wealth of craft and industrial products
Under the theme of ‘Strengthening and enhancing local industry’, the exhibition featured over a hundred product categories. Visitors were able to discover :
Handicrafts: silver sculptures, golden silks, bamboo objects, ceramics and souvenirs inspired by Khmer culture.
Gastronomic specialities: fragrant rice, cashew nuts, honey, coffee, dried mango, Kampot pepper, traditional sauces and sweets, as well as local drinks such as Cambodian tea and coffee.
Clothing and textiles: contemporary fashions, traditional fabrics, eco-responsible creations and accessories inspired by Khmer motifs.
Beauty and well-being products: natural cosmetics, essential oils and body care products made from local plants.
Innovations and new technologies: start-ups offering digital solutions, connected objects and innovative products for agriculture and industry.
Art and design: paintings, modern sculptures, home decor and contemporary jewellery.
Organic and sustainable products: organic food, recycled craft products, zero waste initiatives, eco-responsible items.
The strong presence of honey-based products was remarkable, featuring both wild honey from Mondolkiri and by-products such as royal jelly and beeswax, testifying to the dynamism and diversity of Cambodian beekeeping.
Fishing by-products were also well represented, showcasing the creative potential of local businesses in the food and cosmetics sectors. Numerous new artisan cosmetics brands captivated visitors, often using local natural ingredients and promoting the country's botanical heritage.

The event also put exhibitors in touch with international partners, strengthening export and investment prospects in the Khmer sector.
A number of workshops and seminars highlighted the upmarket nature of local products, which meet international standards in terms of packaging, originality and hygiene.

Along a lively itinerary, visitors could enjoy tastings, direct sales, interactive demonstrations by producers and colourful cultural performances (dances, concerts and artistic presentations).
Interviews with artisans and entrepreneurs strengthened community spirit and raised Khmer pride.
