From 9 to 11 October 2025, Phnom Penh will be alive with a unique celebration of cultural diversity and inclusive tourism at the Cambodia Muslim Friendly Tourism Forum and Fair, held at the Alserkal Mosque.

Under the theme ‘Assalamu Alaikum Cambodia: a safe, warm and welcoming destination’, this event brings together tourism experts, government authorities, representatives of the Muslim community and economic players to promote tourism that is respectful and adapted to Muslim travellers.
Among the exhibitors, Cham Silk and Mystique Tropicals are particularly eye-catching. Their joint stand masterfully highlights the timeless beauty of traditional Cham silk, a remarkably fine handmade textile and symbol of a rich cultural heritage.

Alongside them, Mystique Tropicals offers a rare collection of endemic tropical plants, illustrating Cambodia's natural splendour and its commitment to sustainable, environmentally-friendly tourism.

This exhibition embodies Cambodia's richness and creativity, revealing a country that values its traditions while opening itself up to travellers from all over the world with hospitality and innovation. Through this initiative, Cambodia is positioning itself as a must-see destination for Muslim tourists, offering authentic experiences, certified halal services and a setting conducive to respect for cultural and religious rites.

The Cambodia Muslim Friendly Tourism 2025 Forum is therefore a vibrant testimony to the national ambition to build an inclusive, resilient tourism sector in harmony with the expectations of the global market.
By showcasing crafts such as Cham silk and tropical biodiversity, this event is helping to promote a plural Cambodia, where heritage and modernity intertwine to offer an unforgettable travel experience.
