Archetype Cambodia and International Metal and Jewelry celebrate completion of sustainable factory project

Archetype Cambodia and International Metal and Jewelry (IMAJ) announced the successful completion of the Mekong factory project, located in the Royal Group Phnom Penh Special Economic Zone (PPSEZ).

The opening ceremony on November 9th highlights both companies' shared commitment to sustainability and green building practices.

IMAJ, a global leader in high-end costume jewelry and metal accessories, selected Cambodia for its renowned artisanal and craftsmanship excellence. The newly constructed facility, spanning around 8,910 sqm on 17,000 sqm land, is designed to meet the demands of the world's most prestigious luxury houses.

Archetype Cambodia provided a comprehensive one-stop solution for this project, including the feasibility study, full design, project and construction management, quantity surveying, and LEED consultancy services. Starting one year ago, the construction achieved an impressive safety record of 822,216 hours without Lost Time Injury (LTI).

This facility has earned LEED certification, featuring solar panels and a 100% recycling system for the production of wastewater, adhering to stringent environmental standards. Mr. Nicolas Scheecqmans, Managing Director of IMAJ, emphasized the importance of the collaboration, stating:
