Stepping through the doors of the Raffles Grand Hotel d'Angkor is like entering a residence where cool marble, frangipani gardens, and Cambodia's golden light create a setting worthy of a Somerset Maugham novel. It is within these history-filled corridors that one of the most distinctive painters of contemporary Cambodia now resides: Nou Sary.

More than a simple “meet the artist,” the event promises to unfold as a living dialogue between a leading figure of the contemporary art scene and an audience eager to understand how the soul of Cambodia can be expressed through pigments, materials, and unexpected perspectives.

In an exceptional tribute to khmer culture, the prestigious Salon de l’Artisanat et des Métiers d’Art, which will be held from November 28 to 30, 2025 at the Pavillon Baltard in Nogent-sur-Marne, will welcome the illustrious Cambodian artist Nou Sary.
