At Yangon, a new wave of energy has just swept through the pharmaceutical community: 120 health professionals — mostly pharmacists — gathered for an exceptional Master Class dedicated to managing acne in pharmacies

The session was led by Pascal Catry, a pharmacist and founder of the Ucare Pharmacy chain, which is a leading name in the sector in Cambodia.
This event — organized in partnership with Minthacare — vividly demonstrated how modern pharmacies can play a central role in tackling dermatological conditions — especially acne, a skin issue that continues to be among the most common in the Mekong region.
With passion and rigor, Pascal Catry delivered practical advice on dermo-cosmetic strategies, emphasizing that every interaction in the pharmacy can become a chance to improve a patient’s quality of life.
He underscored that effective acne care doesn’t stop at prescription: it starts with attentive listening and appropriate guidance, and it requires continuous training for pharmacists themselves.
For Minthacare, this initiative was part of a broader mission to advance knowledge in skin health across Southeast Asia. Through free expert lectures like this Master Class, the company helps expand access to high-quality medical education and supports the building of communities of better-trained, more confident professionals who are closer to their patients.
Thanks to the meticulous organization by Minthacare Myanmar’s commercial and marketing teams, the event was both seamless and highly enriching. Between expert exchanges, scientific insights, and shared field experiences, this Master Class marked a significant moment in strengthening the role of the pharmacist as an essential contributor to skin wellness in the Mekong region.
