Last week, Edumalin, the French educational innovation platform specialising in explicit and structured learning, completed a new stage in its mission in South-East Asia.

This visit followed on from a strategic meeting held in June in France with France Éducation International, H.E. Dr. Channmeta Kan, Secretary of State at the Cambodian Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation (MISTI), and the firm Confluences. These discussions laid the foundations for a partnership aimed at strengthening STEM education through the Edumalin solution.
Guided locally by Confluences, CEO François Baritiu and CTO Michael Putters held a series of high-level institutional meetings. In particular, they were received by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, headed by H.E. Dr Hang Chuon Naron, and supported by several secretaries and senior officials such as H.E. Kim Sethany, H.E. Dr. Om Romny and H.E. Chankoulika Bo.
The duo also held discussions with major academic players, including the Cambodian Institute of Technology, the National Institute of Education with Ann Robraw, and the Cambodian Academy of Digital Technologies.
Development institutions, including AFD, the Asian Development Bank and the European Union Delegation, were also at the table. This mobilisation was made possible thanks to the active support of Isabelle Bokhari.
The rich and constructive discussions addressed the realities of the Cambodian education system and the concrete challenges of its digital transition.
All the stakeholders shared a common desire to turn these obstacles into a roadmap and integrate innovative tools like Edumalin into the solutions to be implemented.
The Edumalin adventure is now also being written in Cambodia, with a collective energy focused on the future of education and the emergence of a digital ecosystem to serve the younger generations.
