Royal Group Phnom Penh SEZ (PPSP) illustrates through its 2024 Sustainability Report a clear ambition: to combine economic growth, social responsibility, and environmental protection.

This report, guided by the strategic vision of its President Neak Oknha Kith Meng, attests to the group’s commitment to building a sustainable future for Cambodia while ensuring the competitiveness and resilience of the industrial park.
Sustained and responsible economic growth
Financial strength forms the foundation of PPSP's strategy. With a turnover of 10.56 million dollars for the fiscal year 2024, the company demonstrates robustness and adaptability despite an uncertain international context.
Kith Meng recalls that "sustainability is not limited to a regulatory requirement but represents a strategic lever essential for long-term value creation."
The creation of more than 48,000 jobs, the vast majority held by Cambodians, confirms PPSP’s major contribution to reducing youth unemployment and to the dynamic industrialization of the country.
The group hosts 113 multinational companies, which play a strategic role in strengthening global supply chains and positioning Cambodia as a competitive economic player at the regional level.
Exemplary governance and active fight against corruption
Adhering to corporate governance principles strengthens the confidence of investors and partners. The firm and proactive anti-corruption policy includes a confidential whistleblowing system established in 2020, which allowed the rapid detection and handling of a case of extortion in 2024.
"The trust of our stakeholders is based on our integrity and transparency," insists Kith Meng, thus highlighting the central importance of ethics in the group’s operations.
Moreover, the absence of training in this area in 2024 reveals a need for improvement which the company now plans to address. The balance between rigorous control and a positive corporate culture guarantees an environment conducive to compliance and performance.
Strong and inclusive social commitment
Respect for human rights and labor standards is a key commitment at PPSP. No incidents related to forced labor, child labor, or discrimination were reported for the year 2024.
The policy of equal pay and the promotion of diversity are concretely reflected by a female representation of 30% in management positions and a female presence on the Board of Directors. This record demonstrates human resource management based on fairness, skills development, and a safe working environment, validated by zero fatal or serious accidents.
The establishment of an accessible complaint mechanism guarantees employees a reliable channel to express their concerns, evidencing a mature and responsible social climate.
Green innovation and environmental respect
Aware of climate challenges, PPSP invests in green infrastructures and innovative practices aimed at reducing its ecological footprint while optimizing operational costs.
The development of wastewater treatment stations and recycling facilities, in partnership with GOMI Recycle Phnom Penh, illustrates a pragmatic approach to the circular economy.
According to Kith Meng, "integrating ecological design into our industrial zone allows us to remain competitive in face of increasing expectations from international investors, while contributing to national carbon emission reduction targets."
Strict waste management, rigorous environmental standards monitoring, and climate change adaptation strategies strengthen the operational resilience of the park, ensuring its sustainability in an increasingly constrained environment.
Community development and social contribution
Beyond its economic role, PPSP acts as a responsible player towards local communities. A diverse program of social investments supported school construction, road infrastructure renovation, and aid to families affected by flooding.
Initiatives fostering youth education and promoting local economic activities, notably mulberry cultivation for silk production, demonstrate the will for inclusive development beneficial in the long term for Cambodian society. The group’s involvement in campaigns such as CSX Hope of Life confirms its strong social anchorage, valued by Kith Meng in his vision of a socially responsible business model.
Continuing commitment
PPSP marks its commitment to continue integrating sustainability in all its economic, social, and environmental dimensions. The Board of Directors closely monitors regulatory developments and stakeholder expectations, while operational management works to strengthen internal capacities, transparency, and energy efficiency. Proactive climate risk management and the rise of green technologies are among medium-term priorities.
Kith Meng stresses: "Our roadmap is based on innovation, collaboration with our tenants and partners, and resilience in the face of future challenges, to ensure sustainable value for all our stakeholders."
The 2024 Sustainability Report of Royal Group Phnom Penh SEZ reveals an exemplary model where economic performance, rigorous governance, social responsibility, and environmental excellence harmoniously combine. This overall commitment illustrates a clear and motivating ambition, positioning the group as a pillar of sustainable development in Cambodia, capable of inspiring other economic actors in the region.
