This year's campaign, which officially kicked off on June 1, coincides with International Children's Day, underlining the Foundation's commitment to improving the lives of Cambodia's most vulnerable children and pregnant women.

“Khmers helping Khmers”: a call for national solidarity

With the slogan “Khmers help Khmers”, the campaign seeks to inspire a spirit of solidarity throughout the nation. The Foundation is calling on all Cambodians, whatever their origin, to unite in support of the country's children. The goal is simple but powerful: to mobilize at least 10,000 people to contribute 10,000 riel (around $2.50) each, demonstrating that small individual gestures can collectively have a significant impact.

Supporting the most vulnerable

Funds raised through the campaign will be used to provide essential medical care and support to infants, children and pregnant women in need. The Kantha Bopha Foundation, renowned for its network of children's hospitals, plays an essential role in the Cambodian health landscape, providing free, quality medical services to thousands of families every year.

Strengthening partnerships for greater impact

This year, the Foundation's focus is on collaboration. The campaign aims to deepen partnerships with ministries, provincial and municipal governments, private companies and organizations that have already signed memoranda of understanding with the Foundation. By working together, the Foundation hopes to extend its reach and bring hope and healing to even more children across the country.

A national appeal

The Foundation invites not only the general public, but also philanthropists, celebrities, government agencies, private companies, financial institutions and members of the media to support the campaign. Broad participation and extensive promotion are considered essential to achieving the campaign's ambitious fundraising and awareness-raising goals.

How to contribute

Donations to the “10,000 Riel, 10,000 People” campaign can be made through partner financial institutions or directly to the Foundation's ACLEDA bank accounts:

  • KHR account: 0001-0341273813

  • USD account: 0001-0341273824

For added convenience, QR code payment options are also available, making it easier than ever for supporters to contribute.

Giving hope, one donation at a time

As Cambodia prepares to celebrate International Children's Day, the Kantha Bopha Foundation's campaign stands as a beacon of hope, demonstrating the power of collective action. By rallying the nation under the banner of “Khmer Helping Khmer”, the Foundation aims to ensure that every child in Cambodia has access to the care and support they deserve.
