France-Cambodia Business Forum 2026: Prime Minister Hun Manet confirmed for a historic edition

As part of the 20th Francophonie Summit, the French Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia (CCIFC) and the Foreign Trade Advisors of France (CCEF Cambodia) announce the France-Cambodia Business Forum (FAFC) 2026, to be held on 16 and 17 November 2026 in Phnom Penh.

A bilateral event dedicated to economic relations between France and Cambodia, FAFC 2026 will bring together more than 400 companies, executives, investors and public decision-makers from both countries, with the aim of strengthening trade, encouraging investment and creating new opportunities for cooperation between the two nations.

Organised with the support of Cambodia's Ministry of Commerce and the French Embassy in Cambodia, and in partnership with Business France, the Forum will benefit from the confirmed presence of H.E. Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia. The participation of the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, is also expected as part of the Francophonie Summit, pending final confirmation from the Élysée.

A bilateral forum in service of France-Cambodia economic relations

The France-Cambodia Business Forum is above all a bilateral economic gathering, designed to bring together businesses and decision-makers from both countries.

This 2026 edition aims to reach a new milestone in the France-Cambodia economic relationship by bringing together, on a single platform, French companies looking to expand their operations in Cambodia, Cambodian companies seeking French partners, and international investors interested in the opportunities offered by the Cambodian market.

“The France-Cambodia Business Forum 2026 must be a forum for action. Our ambition is to directly connect French and francophone companies with their future Cambodian partners. That is the whole purpose of the B2B matching session we are setting up in collaboration with Cambodia's Ministry of Commerce: the Ministry will identify and mobilise the Cambodian counterparts matching participating companies, in order to facilitate targeted meetings and turn opportunities into concrete projects,” said Charles Julliard, Executive Director of CCI France Cambodge.

Business meetings at the heart of the Forum

The 2026 edition will prioritise meetings and operational exchanges, including:

A new B2B matching programme

In collaboration with Cambodia's Ministry of Commerce, FAFC 2026 will offer a B2B matching session dedicated to French and francophone companies. Companies wishing to take part will be able to specify their needs, their business sectors and the partner profiles they are seeking. The Ministry of Commerce will identify in advance the Cambodian counterparts likely to meet these criteria, in order to organise targeted meetings during the Forum.

The aim is to allow participants to meet the right contacts, with commercial interests or cooperation projects identified in advance, thereby helping to turn opportunities into concrete projects.

A strengthened B2G dialogue

B2G sessions and ministerial workshops will allow companies to engage directly with Cambodian authorities on regulatory issues, investment and development opportunities across different sectors of the economy.

Sector-focused round tables

French and Cambodian executives, experts and decision-makers will discuss strategic sectors and opportunities for cooperation between the two countries.

High-level networking

The Forum will also offer several networking sessions, bringing together business executives, investors, institutional representatives and economic players from France and Cambodia.

An exceptional week for France, Cambodia and the Francophonie

FAFC 2026 is part of an exceptional international sequence for Phnom Penh.

From 14 to 17 November 2026, the Cambodian capital will host the 20th Francophonie Summit, FrancoTech, the General Assembly of the Alliance of Francophone Employers' Federations, the Francophone Entrepreneurs' Meeting (REFranco), as well as the France-Cambodia Business Forum.

This convergence of international events will offer exceptional visibility to France-Cambodia relations, while allowing participating companies to benefit from an environment particularly conducive to meetings, exchanges and the development of new partnerships.

The Forum is thus part of a broader dynamic that will make Cambodia, for several days, a major meeting point for French, Cambodian and francophone companies, and more broadly for European and Asian ones.
