The APSARA Authority has announced the launch of a new mobile app called “Visit Angkor,” designed to help tourists explore the temples of Angkor in a more convenient and informative way. The app can be downloaded here.

Key features of the app
Temples: Provides historical information, detailed itineraries, points of interest for each temple, temple maps, and information on tourist facilities such as restrooms, parking, and information centers.
Beyond the temples: Offers details on annual events, museums, community tourism initiatives, and popular entertainment venues in Siem Reap.
Code of conduct: This site informs visitors about how to behave in order to preserve the integrity of the Angkor Archaeological Park.
Other features include regular updates on APSARA Authority activities, emergency contact information, and a feedback section where users can submit anonymous suggestions for improving services such as sanitation and environmental management.
The app aims to boost tourism in Siem Reap province by improving the visitor experience and promoting the value of the Angkor Archaeological Park. It complements other digital initiatives by the APSARA Authority, such as online ticket purchasing, making visits more convenient and cost-effective for tourists.
In the first quarter of 2025, Cambodia welcomed more than 1.8 million foreign tourists, a third of whom visited the Angkor temples. The launch of the app coincides with this increase in tourism and aims to attract even more visitors and enhance their experience at the site.
