ABA Bank supports the Cambodian Children's Fund's Primary Education Program

ABA Bank is committed to contributing $60,000 over a three-year period to the Cambodian Children's Fund's (CCF) Primary Education Program.

The financial contribution is intended to facilitate the continued provision of high-quality education for children from the most impoverished backgrounds. This Agreement sets out an extensive three-year plan under which ABA Bank will provide monetary support of $20,000 per annum to the Primary Education Program of CCF. This contribution will ensure that as many young learners as possible receive a full-time primary education. To date, over 740 primary school students are enrolled at CCF's six satellite schools.

In addition to the financial contribution, ABA has also provided a set of computers, routers and switches for use in a computer class at one of CCF's schools. This donation demonstrates the Bank's dedication to equipping students with the digital literacy skills they need to thrive in today's technology-driven world.

Igor Zimarev, ABA's Chief Marketing and CSR Officer, commented:

"At ABA Bank, we believe that education is the cornerstone of a prosperous and equitable society. "By investing in the future of these children, we demonstrate our profound dedication to fostering growth, opportunity, and meaningful change within the communities we serve."

In 2023, the Bank entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with CCF to develop an all-inclusive development program with the objective of enhancing the lives of disadvantaged children through internships and employment opportunities, scholarships, volunteer programs, cross-promotion activities, and financial support.
