For decades, it was one of Phnom Penh's most recognisable sights: the cyclo. Now on the brink of disappearing, this iconic mode of transport may get a second life thanks to a young Franco-Cambodian association, e-Cyclo Cambodia, which is betting on electrification to preserve the heritage while easing the burden on its last remaining drivers.
