On April 27, 2026, more than seventy guests gathered in the salons of the Raffles Hotel Le Royal for the opening of Évanescence, the new solo exhibition by Cambodian artist Nout Daro, presented by The Gallerist in collaboration with Phnom Penh's legendary hotel. It was, by general consensus, a resounding success.

The Gallerist, in collaboration with Raffles Hotel Le Royal, is pleased to announce Evanescence, a new solo exhibition by contemporary Cambodian visual artist Nout Daro. This exhibition presents a series of paintings that question the fragility of existence — the beauty of the natural world and the human condition, always threatened with disappearance, yet also capable of persisting through memory and collective heritage.

There are artists who paint what they see. Others, more rare, paint what they feel before even seeing. Luna Kol belongs to this second category. On March 7, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., The Gallerist will open its doors for a "Meet The Artist" session that promises to be one of the highlights of Phnom Penh's cultural season.
